Today marks three years since eviction of the Bicycle Workshop located on Carrer Joaquim Valls 137. since then, the space has been left empty and unused, while the collective has continued to open in other locations up to the current location on Joan Riera street, putting into practice the motto that pthey will evict our houses but they will never evict our ideas.
We wanted to celebrate this anniversary by hanging a banner that reminds neighbors of what they already know, that where there used to be an open and useful space in the neighborhood, now there is only debris and rats.
It was cured like that, as soon as you start memorizing, you see that Joaquim Valls 137 is not an exception, and close by we can find other spaces that until they were evicted fulfilled a function in the neighborhood such as the Casa del Subidón on the same street or the CSO Tres Voltres Rebel on Carrer Argullós.
